The last week was a busy one.
I have been in correspondence with Candace Philpot, the faculty adviser for SG at the Lake Campus. She wanted advice on how to make their Organization more legitimate on campus, and become more than just an event planning group. I am sure she would appreciate hearing from everyone on SG about what they are working on and planning for this year.
Wednesday, Galen and I met with Gary to gain advice on how to approach speaking with the Academic Integrity Panel on campus, as we plan to recommend they change the way that process is held.
Also met with a small group, including Zack in Gina Reese’s office to improve the state of recycling on campus.
Thursday I gave a quick presentation to the Transition Steering Committee about the upcoming events we are having. (Please read my committee report for updates on the transition)
Friday morning I attended the campus wide Semester meeting in the Apollo room. At which anyone on campus could come to hear the updates regarding the transition next fall.
After that Meeting I helped Nick in with, through no fault of his own, a wildly unsuccessful Constitution Day. While the information was solid, turnout was disappointing.
The Transition Forum will be tomorrow, Senators please tell your DSAB’s to tell your constituents about the forum. It will be a great resource for all students that will be present after the transition.
