Week 9 Report

Well, it is the end of the year. The threat of rain caused some of our speakers to cancel last minute (due to their medical equipment), so we had no choice but to cancel the vigil. We will be rescheduling it - if not sometime this summer, during the fall, for sure.

I will be transitioning Kenny Burr to be the new Director of Disability Affairs for 2012-2013. I will continue to push forward on projects I've started this year, such as the Disability Resource Center. I thank my constituents for allowing me to represent them and be the voice for people with disabilities with the administration and faculty this year. I only wish I could have done more. The quest for equality on this campus is never done, so I will continue to help in any way I can.

I am wrapping up a few projects I started this year.
