Week 3: Report!
Raiders,
I don't know how, but we are already 3 weeks in to the quarter! It is flying by and a lot of progress has been made within Student Government and the House of Representatives!!
This past week I dealt with many individual projects as well as helping others accomplish their own.
- The Secretary of the House interviews are complete. We had two wonderful candidates and it is going to be a tough decision. Brandy and I will be making our decision today and then the House of Representatives will have an opportunity to confirm or deny the nomination.
-The HOR website is now fully updated and you may submit your submit your Printing request or Tunnel Painting request at any time.
-Brandy and I are working on getting a "Meet The House" event together where members can come together and meet different members of the Student Organizations on campus. The Fall registration is wrapping up and we will know the total number of student orgs. for the year very soon!
-The House Legislation Committee is coming together and I hope to present some type of legislation at this weeks meeting....stay tuned!
Other than that I am staying busy with Printing Requests, Homecoming Committee requirements, Event Reviews, and thinking of new, innovative ways to make the HOR more efficent!
**HOR Meeting this week: Wednesday, September 21st from 6-7pm in the Student Union Atrium**
Please let me know if you have any comments, questions, suggestions, or concerns.
