Vice President Report: Oct. 4
This has been a crazy busy few weeks! Paul and I have been working hard to seek out issues from the student body. Of course one of those issues on the forfront is Parking. Paul and I met with Rob Kretzer, Director of Parking and Transportation. We had a productive meeting where we talked about re-evaluating the partking lots on campus and providing a tier system for students to buy into when it comes to parking.
Paul and I have also been trying for weeks now to meet with Communications and Marketing, they continue to cancel our meetings and ask to reschedule. We are meeting with them today. Hopefully we will be able to discuss the Re-branding of the Student Union.
Finally, over the weekend I attended the ASGA (American Student Government Conference) in Washington DC with Paul, Zack and Marc. Personally, I walked away with some great ideas. I am excited to share those with SG in the coming weeks. One thing I will leave you with is, when you hear students talk about Parking issues on campus ask yourself, "Is this an issue with parking OR is it an issue with walking?"
This is Homecoming Week so there are a lot of events going on around campus! I hope everyone will try to make it out to a few of them. I am working hard on getting our cupcakes together for the Cupcake Wars that is taking place on Friday!
GO RAIDERS!
