Graduate Studies Report
Happy Week 10 Everyone!
This week I met with the e-board of the Graduate Student Assembly. We discussed how we are going to go about filling the Vice President position and we are beginning to lay the ground work for an event that is planned for the spring. I then met with the Dean and Associate Dean of Graduate Studies to introduce myself, relay information to them from our GSA meeting, as well as discuss what their expectations are for me as the Graduate Studies Senator. Each of these meetings were very productive and Winter Intersession/Quarter is already looking busy!
I also attended the Presidential Lecture Series meeting. We brainstormed ideas for what kind of speaker we are aiming to help promote for next year's series. If you have any suggestions, please let us know!
Have a great week and study hard for finals next week!
